Please volunteer to help
make March 29th be a success!
Help carry coffins.
This year, people are making coffins to symbolize all the people
who have been killed by the war. We need people to help carry
coffins. Email:
Join the Pittsburgh Marching
Band. In prior years, Pittsburgh antiwar demonstrations
have included a marching band playing along with the march. We
feel that music is an important component of social movements
which needs to continue. However, this year there are not yet
enough musicians to march as a band on March 29th. We can't do it
this year without help! If you are a musician of any skill level
who is dedicated to stopping the war, we need you now. Wind
instruments and percussion are particularly desirable. If we get
enough interest, experienced protest band members will provide
music and lead a series of rehearsals between now and Saturday the
29th. If you can commit to helping with this, we need to hear from
you now! Email:
Volunteer on the day of the
march. Come to the Rally site at 5th & S. Craig for a
12pm volunteer meeting.
...or contact
us if you have other ways you'd like to help out!
